Feasibility study of the production cycle of the Solea solea: analysis and resolution of critical issues and economic evaluation of fattening under two different systems of fosterage

Economic evaluation of the production process of common sole Solea solea. Specifically:
- Calculating the feed cost at different stages of the production cycle until the first commercial size;
- Assessing the impact of production costs on the final product;
- Comparing costs of extensive farming production with the semi-intensive farming;
The research fellow will collaborate with the researchers involved in the development of new feeds, calculating the dietary costs. The research fellow will also take charge of the relationships with the affiliated farms, collecting all the economic data and performance data such as survival rate, time to reach the first commercial size, ecc.. Finally, the research fellow will compare the costs of different types of farming production, in order to assess the economic sustainability.
