The purpose of the research project is to how civil society is facing with the educational emergency. This is one of the greatest challenges of our society caused by the weakening of educational processes, by difficulties in the intergenerational transmission of values, but also by young people living a "confined socialization" rather than community experiences. The mail goals are: - to carry out a review on the in other European cities; - to map the out-of-school educational opportunities run by institutions and civil society organizations in some Turin neighborhoods; - to investigate representations of civil associations’ actors on youth; - to explore how informal agencies (civil society organizations, churches and mosques, interact with institutional agencies (family and school); - to identify specific policy proposals.
