Within the National Programm Research “Il sapere mitico. Antropologia del mito antico”, the research unit of Palermo (coordinated by Professor Valeria Andò) will focus on the anthropological analysis of the myths belonging to section III, which is dedicated to “Gender” in the Greek world (the Unit of Siena will work on the Roman side), and to section IX, devoted to “Health and Illness”, with regard both to the Roman and the Greek culture. The Unit of Palermo is particularly oriented to these topics because of scientific interests and output both of the coordinator and of the other memebers of the équipe
