New therapeutic strategies and patients selection for the risk management in radiation oncology

Please note that the job is no longer active!

New technologies in radiotherapy and targeted therapies improved management of patients. Now we need tools to select patients and give the best treatment on the basis of risk of treatment failure and of radio-chemotherapy induced toxicities. The availability of new RT technologies and new biological drugs need robust preclinical studies before to adopt therapies and combination of therapies in clinical trials. We need also to continue a long and careful follow up of patients in order to promptly identify unexpected late toxicities. The aim of the project is to develop strategies for a better management and better outcome of cancer patients

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
