The project's goal is the development of an integrated technological platform oriented to the personalised neurorehabilitation in stroke patients at home, which includes active devices for limb motion and multiparameter monitoring system (for a successful rehabilitation), along with virtual/augmented reality technologies (to increase patients' involvement and adherence to treatment). Such a platform will be suitable to undergo optimisation and validation from a neurological and muscular standpoint, in order to attain a better definition of rehabilitation protocols tailored on the individual's needs and limitations. To this aim, the projects will be based on highly integrated and validated protocols dealing with the different stages of stroke event, from the early acute phase to the chronic rehabilitation intervention, and capable of yielding a full monitoring of functional improvements of patients during the clinical course.
