The research activity will focus on the analysis, modelling and CFD simulation of the heat transfer in innovative radiant panels. It is firstly required to identify the grid type, the detail of spatial discretisation and the numerical models that are suitable to model the heat transfer in a commercial radiant panel. The CFD model will be validated using experimental data supplied by the panel manufacturer and further data acquired by experimental tests carried out during the research activity. The validated CFD model will then be used to analyse the influence of different materials of the internal pipe on the heat transfer performance of the panel (second stage). Advancements of the research may require modelling of the heat transfer in a new radiant panel that will be developed starting from the results of the previous activity
