Identification, in patients with locally advanced adenocarcinoma of the cardia, of biomarkers predictive of response to neoadjuvant therapy, which allow to distinguish at the time of diagnosis potentially "responder" patients, who will benefit from preoperative CRT, and "non-responders", who should undergo upfront surgery.
Biopsies will be taken pre-CRT and the profile of gene expression will be analyzed by immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR and analysis of microarrays. The correlation between the expression profile of the studied molecules and pathological and survival data, prospectively collected, will be carried out using appropriate statistical tests.

The competition will be carried out by an evaluation of titles and examination by means of an interview.
