Goal of this PhD thesis is to modify electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL) micro/nanofibers by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposited (PECVD) thin films containing biologically active functional groups and understand the differences in the interaction of fibrous materials with plasmas at low and atmospheric pressure.
