Post-flood damage assessment is still an open research field, especially when one has to consider besides direct physical damage also indirect, secondary and long term losses to complex regional, social, and economic systems. This research program aims at exploring more advanced damage assessment models, also through case studies, like for example the Umbria flood that occurred in November 2012. This program is aimed also at creating an international partnership to develop this issue beyond Italy’s borders, and to submit proposals to European and other international calls.
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
