Optimization of fertilization and soil management techniques in fruit growing to improve the chemical, physical and biological fertility of soils

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The productive performance of a fruit orchard is strongly affected by soil fertility and therefore by fruit grower capacity in choosing, combining, and properly performing the fertilization and soil management practices. On the other hand, such expertise is taken into consideration by the recent agricultural European Union policy which supports and encourages the use of production technologies aimed to preserve natural resources (cross-compliance concept).

The main aim of this research is the optimization of sustainable fertilization and low impact soil management technologies in fruit orchard systems located in semi-arid areas by the monitoring of soil quality and fertility indicators.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
