The objective of the research is to define the canon of medieval vernacular literature, intended as a set of works, representing the different linguistic areas and the various literary genres, which for their modeling power and success have played a founding role in relation to the European cultural tradition. Therefore the project aims to make accessible online the textual corpus of works of the Medieval canon, providing it with a series of foundamental and innovative devices for its study and analysis: 1. a semantic database of emotions; 2. a philological online platform that works as a portal connecting the databases and the online reources.
