Development of multiplex analytical methods for the diagnosis of viral infections in point-of-care settings

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The project is aimed at the development and application of multiplex analytical methods for diagnosis of parvovirus B19 infection. The research will proceed along two main lines.
(a) Design, production and characterization of biomolecules (proteins and DNA or PNA gene probes) necessary for the development of nucleic acid hybridization and immunological tests for the detection of markers of viral infection in biological samples. Procedures will also be developed for the immobilization of capture biomolecules on functionalized surfaces.
(b) Development of methods based on mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF, Q-TOF and HPLC-ES-MS/MS) for the characterization of the biomolecules produced (e.g., recombinant viral proteins, enzyme markers).

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
