Analysis of functional and ecophysiological responses through bioenergetics mechanistic ecological models (MECOMOD)

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The main aim of research is to gain information to model the behaviour of some target species under different types of disturbances with different characteristics of intensity timing duration extent and interval as generated by stressors like temperature, lowered pH, toxicants, etc, on marine species belonging to the same functional group in two different habitats: 1) intertidal rocky shores and 2) shallow waters with soft bottom. Such information will feed DEB models. The deep knowledge of respirometric techniques to measure metabolic rates will be essential to reach objectives. The outcome of research should be published on the most important influential scientific peer-reviewed impacted Journals (Q-1) and object of projeet reporting.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
