The research has a twofold objective. First, it aims to identify those entrepreneurial competencies in the top management teams that can enhance the organizational resilience. As a matter of fact, entrepreneurs and executives who enable their organizations to recover from a crisis exhibit a complex set of competencies. The identification of those competencies which have positively impacted on the capacity of overcoming a (market or organizational) crisis is relevant on both, the scientific and managerial level.
Second, the projects aims to identify a multidimensional performance metrics, which is not only based on economic and financial performance, that supports the top management team in the decisional process which sustain organizational resilience. In the strategic and organizational literature, in the last few years, a new concept, named socio-emotional wealth (SEW), has emerged.
