The main objective of this search will be consistent with an evaluation of coherence between materials and constructive techniques, and at the same time the identification of the needs for conservation of the historic building heritage for its evaluation in terms of urban commercial centers. In particular the search aims to the enhancement of local raw materials and to the exploitation of solid wastes for the production of local and sustainable construction materials.
To such context it is possible refer to some recent departmental (laboratory MARE) researches on the conversion of some local resources to traditional-innovative construction commodities such as bindings, ceramics, natural and artificial stones in to be employed with profit in the sustainable conservation of historical built.
The research has also the goal to provide methodological and practical knowledge to support local producers and restoration companies as main partner of the construction chain.
