The proposed research project is based on the spreading of the recent philosophical reflection on the deliberative paradigm, a paradigm that has been increasingly applied to fields of research that are outside the political-philosophical dimension where that enquiry was first launched. The present research proposal aims at evaluating some deliberative models (and the related reasons deemed acceptable in a public deliberation) elaborated by deliberativist theorists: the working hypothesis is to apply those models to Ethics. It will be up to the researcher to review the above mentioned models (and related kind of reasons) and to discuss their relevance for some ethical issues, also issues of applied Ethics. The research will mainly focus on the most updated literature on the field, especially books and papers written in English, where the relation between deliberation and Ethics has been treated
