NEW EXPERIMENTAL MODELS FOR THE EVALUATION OF SPECIFIC INNOVATIVE THERAPIES FOR INCURABLE TUMORS

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The first purpose of the project is to obtain new murine preclinical models predictive of the tumoral pathology to evaluate the efficacy of new pharmacological treatments in preclinical phase using methods of non-invasive imaging to monitor the tumor evolution. Xenograft orthotopic murine models of incurable human tumours will be set up. This study would also evaluate the tumor progression and the pharmacological treatment response with rapid and non-invasive techniques such as the bioluminescent molecular imaging, and compare the results of different models to find the incidence and latency onset. The second purpose is the evaluation of the pharmacological effect of oligonucleotides by the evaluation of the specific silencing oncogenes in cell lines of incurable children and adult cancers. The project will enable the identification of oligonucleotides and their related preclinical characterisation as new specific anti-tumor agents against cancer cells of incurable tumours.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
