Within the framework of regional Poli di Innovazione (MESAP) a project was funded to study an exoskeletric glove to help the physiological grip of human hand. The commands necessary to distinguish six different positions/movements will be extracted by the surface EMG signals recorded from forearm muscles and thumb. The aim of the herein funded project is the complete mapping of such an anatomical area to properly identify the best electrode location to obtain a correct interpretation of the motor task to be actuated. Moreover, a set of measure will be run for the validation of prototype performance and, in cooperation with an EndUser company, ergonomic and usability properties will be assessed.
