The project aims at the optimization of novel protocols for "mate-pair" library production either from middle size genomic fragments or from long size (to 40Kb) genomic fragments to be used for genome sequencing by using the Illumina platform of complex genomes presenting high content of repetitive regions. This is especially of interest as this the typical situation in organism of interest in agronomic and food science.
