The research program is inserted in the TECNOENERGY project. One of the project tasks is the evaluation of environmental impact of the iron and stell process of the chosen case study enterprise. In particular innovative technologies and practices will be inserted in the process and the consequent reduction of environmental emission will be evaluated. Environmental impact evaluation will consider many macroareas of impact: air, water, wastes, noise, raw materials and energy. Moreover all the productive process steps will be analyzed to evaluate all possible pollution sources and consequent impacted areas. A monitoring plan will be designed for a complete evaluation of all the effects due to the introduction of innovative technologies and practices. Then an experimental sampling campaign of the indoor area will be performed to evaluate the exposure and the eventual impact on workers health.
