Determination of salivary endogenous and exogenous melatonin in healthy volunteers and in patients with circadian rhythm disorders

• Assess the reliability of the method of analysis of salivary melatonin endogenous and exogenous

• Identify the Dim Light Melatonin Onset (DLMO) in a sample of healthy volunteers and in patients with circadian rhythm disorders

• Outline the kinetic profile of the salivary exogenous melatonin administered to the same subject under DLMO

• Check the effect of exogenous melatonin on the DLMO in patients with circadian rhythm disorders.
