The research project is aimed at the description of functional connection among cortical areas participating in the execution of visual attention tasks. The study will leverage on computerized processing of electroencephalographic data. Task-related cortical connections will be identified through appropriate processing techniques (e.g. Partial Directed Coherence). A characterization of the connectivity network will be provided through indices derived from the graph theory. Experimental measures will be made both on healthy volunteers, and in conditions of cognitive deficits affecting attentive processes.
