Membrane Contactors for L_V mass transfer with chemical reaction operations

Please note that the job is no longer active!

There are heavy limitations to the use of polymeric membrane contactors in chemical engineering applications which can be reduced by the industrialization of inorganic membrane contactors.
The project is focused on the application of inorganic membrane contactors as well as of polymeric membrane contactors to perform, in the same unit, a stage of chemical reaction followed by stripping of volatile compounds at moderate temperatures and pressures.
Activities:
1. Module characterization by measurements of chemical-physical properties as well as of transport properties to evaluate the hydrophobicity or the hydrophilicity of the modules.
2. Design, development and setting up of a prototype bench-scale plant
3. Experimentation to define the main process parameters
4. Data reduction and critical analysis of the results.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
