Effectiveness of interventions aimed at preventing occupational injuries

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The aim of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive interventions performed in order to reduce the incidence of occupational injuries. The study population of this project will consist of workers who were exposed, in the last twenty years in two Italian regions (Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany), to preventive interventions aimed at reducing the number of accidents at work. Concerning data relating to the general working population, will be used the data of the Italian National Institute od Statistics (ISTAT) about industries. The rates of accidents taken into account will be compared to the general injury rates for each sector, calculating the incidence rate ratio (IRR). To identify the determinants of accident rates of interest, we will run Poisson regressions.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
