The research activity foresees the realization of micro and nanostructures based on thin superconducting films grown on different substrates such as single crystals and bicrystals. Initially, the influence of the lithographic processes on the transport properties of the superconducting materials will be studied. Secondly, engineering and realization of micro and nanostructures (Hall bars, micro/nanochannels with different in-plane orientations, microbridges) and characterization of their transport properties in cryogenic environment will be pursued. The activities also foresees the development of innovative devices for the characterization of superconducting materials, such as deformable structures for the investigation of material properties under stress.
