LASER ABLATION AND MICRO MILLING: ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESS PARAMETERS INFLUENCE

In this research the attendant will study different micro machining processes as micro milling and laser ablation. In particular the attendant will cooperate with a team in order to set up an hybrid machine able to realize both processes. Subsequently the attendant will focus his study on the analysis of the process parameters influence for both machining, the goal of this topic is to improve the quality of the machined parts. At last an analysis and comparison of the results will be executed in order to identify a technological window for each removal process. The experimental campaigns will be designed following the DOE approach.
