Perturbation theory of Hamiltonian systems of hydrodynamics type

Please note that the job is no longer active! the plan of researches requires: 1) to study the behaviour of the solutions of the perturbed Hamiltonian systems in a low dispersion regime, following the pattern of the classical results of Lax and Livermore for the Kdv equation 2) to explore the Dubrovin conjecture ( Comm. Math. Phys. 267(2006), 117-139) onthe universal behaviour of the solutions of the perturbed systems around the critical points, for larger classes of admissible perturbations 3) to use the geometry of Frobenious manifolds to give a rigorous description of gradient catastrophe for Hamiltonian equations in (2+1)-spacetime dimensions.
