Ph +/neg. Chronic MyeloProliferative Diseases: identification of transforming lesions and rational treatment

Please note that the job is no longer active! the identification of the genetic alterations driving cancer and the characterization of the signalling pathways being altered by these alterations remain poorly understood in many neoplasias. Such knowledge represents the indispensable basis needed for any rational therapeutic approach. We would like to produce new knowledge on the pathogenesis of both Ph+ and negative Chronic Myeloproliferative Diseases and to use it to identify potential therapeutic targets for specific combined approaches. A selected number of identified alterations will be introduced into appropriate cellular recipients, with the aim of: validating their transforming potential, and to assess the biological effects, in vitro and in vivo, of their single or combined.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
