Description: The Chair for Molecular Nutritional Medicine at the Technische Universität München investigates the role of brown fat cells in adaptive thermogenesis. The project will elucidate the endocrine mechanisms involved in the recruitment and activation of brown adipocytes as well as their systemic impact on energy metabolism. Primary methods are cell culture, respirometry, mouse models, and imaging technologies....
