Multiscale approach to study the behaviour of materials

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The multiscale approach is one of the most innovative methods for understanding the origins of specific behaviors of materials with effects at different dimensional scales. This approach mimics the behavior of the material from the atomistic level to higher dimensional levels. In particular, as main topic of this research, we will consider the two following applications: study of the treatments and the optimal parameters for obtaining nanostructured surfaces; study of the mechanisms of damage by hydrogen embrittlement.

The results obtained by these analyses will be, then, compared with results obtaind by a experimental tests. The aim being the validation of the numerical models.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
