Fully-funded PhD Studentship: Death Receptor Clustering in Neutrophil Apoptosis - Ordered or Random?

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The project has two main aims: (i) to elucidate whether polymerisation of death receptors within lipid rafts on neutrophils is an ordered or random event; (ii) to determine if altered death receptor polymerisation contributes to neutrophilia in obese asthmatics.

The successful student will be based in the Institute of Life Science at Swansea University, working alongside an established research group.

Supervisor: Dr Nigel Francis
Co-supervisors: Dr Cathy Thornton and Dr Ed Dudley...
