The University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) and the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences (EMPS) are seeking to attract PhD candidates of outstanding ability to join an exciting and challenging project.

Interactions between immune and beta cells are of primary importance in driving insulitis in type 1 diabetes and empirical observations have provided information about the cytokine/chemokine networks involved and the immune cell subtypes which are recruited.
