Formulation and characterization of organic-based products for the conservation of stones and their effectiveness evaluation

The candidate will be involved in multi-disciplinary research groups consisting of public and private companies that operate in the Cultural Heritage sector and the Chemical industry.

The research activity will focus on the aspects described below:

1) Formulation of organic-based products for the protection and consolidation of stone materials (sandstone, marble and cotto-tile. This activity will be carried out in close collaboration with industrial partners of the PRIMARTE project;

2) Characterization of the formulated products and their performance and effectiveness on samples.
