The role of criminal law in multicultural societies: a legal, criminological and criminal policy outline.

Please note that the job is no longer active!

After identifying the main kinds of cultural and religious conflicts arising in contemporary multiethnic societies and deemed particularly relevant to criminal law regulation, the research will initially outline some of the most significant social dynamics that lead to the so-called “culturally or religiously oriented crimes”, and put such dynamics under strictly criminological scrutiny so as to highlight their most recurrent features. The analysis will be largely based upon a screening of the legal frameworks of other countries as devised to define, confront and prevent at least those wrongdoings that are representative of the general phenomenon.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
