Flagship Project InterOmics, Subproject 1, WP 8 “Application of Machine Learning Technologies and Tissue Engineering in Biomedicine”
The subject of this research grant would concern the
development of advanced machine learning techniques
for the analysis of omics data. In particular, the
switching neural network paradigm will be extended
and generalized by properly modifying the training
algorithm shadow clustering to make them more suited
to the treatment of biological data deriving from different sources (genomic, proteomic, epigenomic,
interatomic, environmental, physiological, clinical, …
data).
