"The main objective of the project is to increase our knowledge in factors that affect molecular recognition in protein targets of kynurenine signaling pathway by identifying ligands to be used as chemical tools. The project will utilize a variety of computational techniques including molecular docking, molecular dynamic simulations, pharmacophore generation and virtual screening to achieve the identification of active ligands at protein targets of kynurenine. The successful candidate will employ a variety of computational chemistry and molecular modeling towards the objectives of the project.
