Quasi-variational inequality problems (QVIs) are a powerful modeling tool capable of describing complex equilibrium situations that can appear in such different fields as generalized Nash games, contact problems and the analysis of transportation models.
This research grant will require the candidate to focus on the numerical solution of finite-dimensional QVIs, developing both the methodological aspects and the corresponding software. In a second stage the theoretical and practical tools so developed will be used to study multi-leader/multi-follower games.
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
