The fellowship aims at encouraging the design, construction and testing of a GIS application applicable to the history of the city. Space (defined as the physical place where events take place) and time are intended as the basic parameters for understanding phenomena associated with the transformation of the urban landscape. This is why the data must be organized in a GIS or rather than an HGIS (Historical GIS).The research will focus on validating the method applied to a case study through data collection, organization and digitization. The goal of the research is to test the method on the history of urban transformation, so as to understand the dynamics of historical change and predict possible future scenarios. This will be of particular importance to anyone who is responsible for governing the territory as it would permit them to visualize and analyze phenomena that vary over time
