In the acquisition process of digital data for the documentation and metrical survey of buildings or historical artefacts through photogrammetry and laser scanner, the context in which we work often causes limits in the operations: difficulties in the accessibility, lack of safety for the worker, unusual dimensions, etc.
The recent development of new software products for the data processing and the decreasing of prices on electronics allow the individuation and improvement of techniques to register the position of points in space and their chromatic components (voxel), optimising the whole acquisition process.
This research will focus on the training of a professional figure that will be able to manage the process of digital scanning and, at the same time, govern machines built for this purposes such as drones and robots. This technique will be able to substitute men in difficult contexts
