The research is aimed to the development of advanced materials in view of the production of thermal protection systems for vehicles employed in space exploration.
Particularly, the research will concern the study of innovative preparation methods and the set-up of a process for the development of ablative materials. Moreover, the research will also include the exploitation of characterization techniques useful to verify some chemical-physical parameters in order to optimize the efficiency of the ablative materials in thermal protection systems.
The research will also include the characterization of opportunely treated samples, in order to simulate their ablative behavior verifying their efficiency through lab-scale tests or by using specific test-beds developed for recreating the operative conditions.
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
