For a local living: social housing strategies and practices in the contemporary city. The case of Bologna.

Please note that the job is no longer active!

ENG
The aim of the research project is to reflect on contemporary living starting from the redefinition path which is nowadays involving social housing. In this regards, it is urgent to re-think, even radically, the housing question within the urban planning discipline: instead of finding centralized solutions to social needs, it urges to give appropriate answer to local demands since the interest on housing is now focused on new relations between the public sector and the private one. Research will identify where this approach is used, analyzing some major themes in housing policies: from the reason of the failure of traditional planning tools, to the need of linking the housing demand to urban renewal objectives; from the analysis of those housing policies aimed at giving local solutions to specific needs, to considerations on temporary living as one of the housing supply-chain.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
