Going back to the origins of theatrical lexicon: conservative semantic areas: theonims, epithets and religious lexical data from the Thebes tablets

Please note that the job is no longer active!

This project will concern Mycenaean Greek theonims, epithets and religious lexical data from the Thebes tablets and his relationship with Aeschylus. First of all, each word will be investigated from a morphologic and semantic perspective. Moreover the noun-formation will be taken into account, in particular from a diachronic and a synchronic point of view. Finally, possible attestations in ancient Greek lexicography and theatrical literature will be taken into account.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
