In vitro study on the effects of carbon and silica nanoparticles on human normal and pathological

There will be studied in vitro the effects induced by carbon and silica nanoparticles on the expression of markers of cellular damage, such as heat shock protein 70 and the inducible form of nitric oxide synthase. The experiments will be conducted on two human cell lines in culture. The first cell line would be represented by primary human astrocytes and the second cell line will be represented by human neuroblast-type SH-SY5Y cell line.
