Politecnico di Milano in 2013 celebrates 150 years of activity. This important date will be celebrated with an exhibition. The skills and the creativity of Politecnico will be the subject of it, including the ability to design advanced views, projected into the future. How technical inventions have changed the world? The exhibition will hint a few answers to this question, through a series of narratives and multimedia and interactive installations related to some past and present experiences of Polimi. More generally, the exhibit aims at proposing scenarios projected into the future, in order to make it "friendly" and "designable" in a time of great pessimism, dimming the widespread feeling of inevitability and stimulating a debate on possible innovation paths. The research activity will be placed in this context and it will be focused on gaining knowledge on contemporary as well as historical visions developed by Politecnico di Milano and on its editing in narrative forms.
