Ecological genomics and expression profiling of the critically endangered European eel (Anguilla anguilla)

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The present project is aimed to set up and apply the DNA microarray technology to the study of gene expression of a critically endangered species, the European eel (Anguilla anguilla), with relevant interest for conservation and aquaculture. The available EST data will be merged in a single database of annotated unique transcripts, which will be used for the construction of a high density microarray. Gene expression experiments will be performed to describe the response to different environmental stressors and to identify condition-specific signatures.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
