The goal of the project is to ﬁnd and optimize new molecules,
inhibitors of the human enzyme gluteminyl eyclase (QPCT), in order to develop new drugs for the treatment of the Alzheimer disease, a pathology that affects over 30 million people throughout the world. The project FINDING is born to set up research collaboration between University and
Industry and involves the Universities of Siena and Florence and the biotech enterprise SienaBiotech.
