The use of an in-depth accident database to study the relationship between road accidents dynamics and personal injuries.

The project is intended to in-depth study the serious accidents that will occur in the Florence metropolitan area during the period 2012-14.

The reserrcher will utilize the data about scene of the accident, vehicle analysis, dynamics parameters and medical information (from emergency service and intensive care unit) with the aim to analyse the relation between the body injuries and the dynamics of the accidents.

At the end the researcher will realize the standard statistical analysis expected by the OECD methodology and further specifics correlations between the dynamic of event and the short/long term injuries broken down by demographic and engineering feature
