Large-scale integration of Mobile Sensing and Data Processing to provide Smart City Scenarios and Services

Please note that the job is no longer active!

This proposal of research integrates two topics very at the state of the art. The first line is the usage of smartphones for sensing personal habits, for example to monitor your calorie consumption or your habits in mobile behavior. In the area of Smart Cities, smartphones do not only become the enabler of user sensors, but also supporters of interconnection with other smartphones and services for Smart City itself, with which to establish two-way communication: on the one hand, citizens can contribute collaboratively to the operation of the Smart City, on the other hand, the Smart City can provide services cheaper and more efficient to their citizens. The two directions require a strong integration between each other and both of these activities are critical to the delivery of services based on distributed sensing in Smart City.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
