Environmetal evolution and fault capability in the Po Plain - Adriatic Foredeep Domain
Please note that the job is no longer active!
The main seismic sources of the Po Plain Foredeep, both along the Southern Alps and the Northern Apennines, have been identified with good reliability already during the Nuclear Siting Program conducted by ENEA – ENEL in the 70s e 80s.
The investigations of the last 3 decades allowed to improve significantly our knowledge on the active tectonics of the Po Plain.
The seismic sequence occurred on May 2012 eventually provided invaluable constraints for the structural model and seismic landscape of the study region. The available data strongly suggest that the Po Plain is exposed to a relevant level of ground rupture hazard.
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
