Development of a multifunctional rig for actuators testing - Rif. 407/2012

The aim of the research activity consists in the realization of a test rig for servoactuators, that must be usable to evaluate the steady-state and dynamic performance of a either hydraulic or electromechanical servoactuators for aerospace, transport and industrial applications. The test rig will accept two parallel servoactuators which will be independently loaded and can be connected to a mechanical system representative of inertia, striffness and damping of the actual system controlled by the servoactuators. The test rig will also have the possibility of accepting the installation of electromechanical or hydromechanical actuators with a rotary output in place of those with linear output. The test rig will include all necessary electronic control and data acquisition system.
